The latest Senshi Forte news...

Senshi Forte volume six is on the way, according to the Bandai Gashapon blog the prototypes have been inspected and approved for mass production, the set will be released at the end of June. The line-up is pretty darn impressive too; just look at these prototypes:

I've said it before but how can 300 yen figures get such awesome accessories when the 500 yen MS Ensemble figures get toothpick beam sabers or half their gear tossed into a separate "equipment" package?

The selection is perhaps a little uninspired. I love exotic mobile suits but this set feels rather bread and butter and is very similar to what is going on in Converge at the moment. I hope it will be possible to army build the Döven Wolf. The army builder from Senshi Forte f05, the mass-production type Bawoo is impossible to find anywhere except in some full sets. You'd need to go onsite and raid the second hand Gashapon shops to get lucky with that one I'm afraid.

Actually, Bandai planned for a Zaku III to be part of the line-up but that design has not yet been prototyped and is sadly shelved for the time being. Perhaps because Senshi Forte will be undergoing design changes as were alluded to recently? Only this sketch exists for now.

Two additional prototypes that we have seen as drawings earlier were also showcased at the same time (volume 07 perhaps?) and they make my heart race a bit faster. The Buster Gundam looks very neat but I need that GINN noooooow! Preferably a whole squad of them.
