The latest Gundam Converge news...

Oh my... I did not see this coming. I can scarcely believe my eyes but Bandai and FusionWorks have sunken their creative and financial resources into creating the Rafflesia of Gundam F91 fame. This is something you don't get to see every day! According to the Gundam Shokugan portal, the figure will be about 9,5 cm in height (not sure if that is including the clear base or not) which should put it around roughly the same height as the 1/220 figures.

Just like with the other mobile armors like the Neo Zeong and Neue Ziel, the base figure will be released as a retail figure (EX 24), and a further glut of accessories including an exclusive mobile suit will make its way into a Premium Bandai option parts set only.

The base Rafflesia is scheduled for release in November and has a recommended sales price of  ¥3200 and the option parts set will cost an additional ¥2400. The option parts set will contain effect pieces that attach to each of the Rafflesia's five wing binders, one "Bug" type weapon of mass destruction as well as the E.F.S.F. mass production RGM-109 Heavygun mobile suit. Overall, it looks amazing but it will be another overpriced thing to hunt down...
