The latest Gashapon news...

Two huge (literally) reveals yesterday on the Bandai Gashapon blog, and not exactly as I had anticipated them. First off we have the Apsalus II coming out in the Mobile Suit Ensemble line as figure EX 11. As such it will be one of those nasty Premium Bandai limited edition offerings. The choice is not a huge surprise considering the focus on the The 08th MS Team in Ensemble Part 09 which is due out in March 2019.

The second behemoth is the Alpha Azieru which will show up in the Gashapon Senshi Forte series as Premium Bandai product EX 06 (synergizing with the upcoming RX-93 in sf09). The previous teaser image had led me to believe that this was in fact a Neo Zeong destined for MS Ensemble, so two wrongs out of two there. :)

The prices and release dates for the Apsalus and the Alpha Azieru are not yet revealed but they will be coming up for preorder on P-Bandai in late February.

Kawa signs off with a reminder that MS Ensemble Part 09 is coming up soon as well as Senshi Forte volume 09 which will begin shipping in June. Still no details for sf 09 except this Nu Gundam prototype below. The official Senshi Forte website has not yet been updated either so I am realy curious to see what will be part of this figure wave.

    I really love that Apsalus! Is thrrt a way to import them if you live in the U.S.?

      This will be a Premium Bandai-item which means it will be sold through the P-Bandai service only. It will open for preorder there later in February. We had a similar disucssion here on the blog a while ago, check out the comments section attached to the post below for some additional tips:
