The latest Gundam Converge news...

We have two new Converge reveals from Bandai today and they are both pretty exciting. First up is Converge #18 scheduled for February 2020.This set goes almost all in on Universal Century with three never before seen mobile suits for the era. The set is spearheaded by two suits from Victory Gundam, followed by some suits from the War in the Pocket-timeline and ended with an oddball design they managed to dig up from the obscure Gundam Wing: G-Unit storyline. The Geminass has some interesting variations and it would be great to see them show up in the CORE premium line.

- LM314V21 Victory 2 Gundam
- LM111E03 Gunblaster
- MS-18E Kämpfer
- RGM-79G GM Command
- RGM-79GS GM Command Space Type
- OZX-GU01A Gundam Geminass 01

The next EX figure is a logical development for the line. It was actually speculated about several times among the readers on this blog already back when the Neue Ziel came out and now finally the Byg-Zam is coming to Converge. I think it is a bit of a shake-up that we also get not one but two Core Boosters which I feel add tremendous value to the set. The Byg-Zam is slated for release in March next year and has a planned price tag of ¥4700 which will no doubt hurt a little bit. Still, I can't wait to add these to my collection!

  1. I am very excited for these upcoming releases. The Big Zam with the 2 Core Boosters is a good value, but I am impartial for the “War In The Pocket” mobile suits. The GM Space Command is an excellent grunt suit, followed up with the Kampfer with its full weapons is quite a treat.

    1. Fully agreed, volume 18 looks like it is going to be a killer set. I am really hoping that the Gun-EZ will follow the Gunblaster and now that the GM Command is available it forms a solid ground for a possible GM Sniper II figure as well.
